Draw Down Books is a publishing platform founded by Christopher Sleboda and Kathleen Sleboda. Headquartered in New Haven, CT, and Boston, Draw Down produces books and zines on graphic design, typography, and art. Draw Down also features a selection of related titles and printed matter from around the world.

Through community-based print and publishing projects, Diasporan Savant Press cultivates a lively dialogue between contemporary and ancestral wisdoms inspired by the incredible richness of the African Diaspora and the multiverse-spanning blackness from which all life emerged.
Lavender Lizard Press
BELLY ACHE is a collaborative project between Gabby Lee and Ryan Faherty. Based in Boston, BELLY ACHE produces publications derived from their mixed media and sculptural practice. BELLY ACHE features titles including Belly Book, Very Heavy, and Hinge that explore the material of wood, collage, and lamination.
Body & Forma *Sat*
Body & Forma is a publishing platform founded by Chen Luo and Chuck Gonzales. Headquartered in Boston and New York, they produce publications on unlearning strategies, poster collections, and cultural traditions. Body & Forma published BU MFA Poster Collection, The Body in Graphic Design, Proforma, etc.
Narciso Espiritu Illustration
Narciso has made images for editorial, toy/apparel production, and comics. (It’s fine.) His work is described as energetic, colorful, and “menacing." Narciso is one of the co-founders of Instigatorzine. He is currently teaching illustration and comics courses at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
ABC Artists’ Books Cooperative is an international group of artists, publishers, and educators seeking to create, engage, and experiment with the form of the book, and to foster alternative forms of distribution through collaboration. We work on our own practices, and together to produce collective projects.
Amee J. Pollack creates artists' books, under the banner Spitz & Pollack, in Highland Park, NJ and New York, NY, producing publications on women's themes/history that use movables, pop-ups & structures. A selection of titles includes Professor Pinkerton's Pop-Up Library, The Inheritance & It's a Piece of Cake.
Amy Burns Books is a bookbindery and emerging micro-press founded by Amy Burns and located in Jersey City. ABB publishes works on chronic illness, disability, and mental health. Amy's work also focuses on absurdist and cute noir comics, as well as illustrations, stickers, and hand-stitched blank books.
Co Space Co is a publishing initiative and collaborative founded by Alyson Fraser Diaz and Laura Cerón Melo. Based out of NJ/NYC, Co Space Co produces publications on identity, design, and social justice. Co Space Co features a selection of titles including Queer Riot Pride Joy, Mending, and Distanced.

Montclair resident Kevin Pyle is the author/illustrator of numerous graphic novels and non-fiction comics including Lab USA and Blindspot. He is currently producing work that explores the intersection of mortality, landscape and disappearance. His graphic essays appear frequently in the L.A. Times.
Jersey Collective is an organization that features weekly takeovers of its Instagram account. Offline, founder Kerri Sullivan curates gallery shows, edited an anthology with Rutgers University Press, publishes local artist stickers available in a traveling vending machine, and hosts a monthly book club.

SMUSH Gallery is a space for creative + community work in the Journal Square neighborhood of Jersey City. We produce and present publications created by, and in collaboration with, artists of all kinds. Titles include Thoth Tarot Instant Reading Guide, ¿Está Ahí?, and the interactive It’s Fun To Think About You.
4th Wall Comix
4th Wall Comix is a micro-press founded by Jesse Lambert, in Jackson Heights, NY. It publishes nonfiction comics created by Jesse on public health, culture, politics, and memoir. 4th Wall comix presents a selection of titles, including American Cult, COVID Chronicles, and Clement Greenberg, Abstraction, and Me.

A. T. Pratt is a publishing platform founded by A. T. Pratt. Headquartered in Brooklyn, NY. A. T. Pratt produces publications on personal fitness, “funny animals”, and horror/terror. A. T. Pratt features a selection of titles, including Negative Space: Spiky Spooky Slippery Slimy Share Sampler, Etc.
Biscuits and Gravy
Biscuits and Gravy is an artist collective founded by photographers Maureen Drennan and Tim Eastman. Based in Brooklyn, NY, we are featuring a selection of documentary and fine art photography books including Meet Me in the Green Glen, All the Past We Leave Behind, the sea that surrounds us, and others.
Brain Washing from Phone Towers *Sun*
Brain Washing From Phone Towers is a series of Informational Pamphlets produced by hand combining text (handset in metal type) and relief image (carved in linoleum). Recent pamphlets have focused on urban ecology, NYC history, and how climate change affects both human and non-human inhabitants of New York.
Bungee Space sells art books, wearable designs & materials, and works as an artist-run space & publisher. As a diversified curated space, Bungee Space encourages diverse voices, building an experimental playground, and collecting understandings, rethinkings, and criticisms of the “place” that we present.
Dispersed holdings is an artist-run platform for experimental publishing and listening practices founded in 2015 by Sal Randolph and David Richardson. For two years (2016-18), dispersed was held in the former Bowery apartment of the artist Eva Hesse; the project is currently focused on making and dispersing books.
ESTAR(SER) is a scholarly body interested in practitioners of sustained attention in general — and in the so-called "Order of the Third Bird" in particular. The body's "Proceedings" regularly disseminate ESTAR(SER)'s findings. Its collection "In Search of the Third Bird" was published in 2021 through MIT Press.
GenderFail is a non-binary and trans publishing, programming and archiving platform run solely by Be Oakley. GenderFail is not non-for-profit but profit-for-survival or profit-to-continue-our-work-without-other-means-of-capital and most importantly to make money for others I publish, to create profit-for-labor.
Paper Monument is a non-profit art press intent on presenting smart, serious writing that is accessible to a wide audience. Based in Brooklyn, Paper Monument is a sister publication to n+1: a print and digital magazine of literature, culture, and politics. Both presses publish books in addition to journals.
Sean Suchara is an Artist working in the space of self-publishing. Based in Long Island New York, Sean's practice shines through the wide variety of avenues he explores his ideas. From prints to poetry books, sustainable gift wrap designs to mindful coloring books he has a little bit of something for everybody.
Shira Neiss Illustration is a one woman art operation based in Midwood, Brooklyn. All of Shira's zines and books are self printed using a Risograph machine, and usually contain an interactive component. Books are usually inspired by Shira's Orthodox Jewish upbringing, and her attempt to come to terms with it.
UPON is a New York-based art and publishing studio founded by Ivy Zheyu Chen, with one simple brief — Explore Anything for Fun and Experience. Our zines have been collected by institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum Library, Whitney Museum, Yale University Library, Jameel Arts Centre Dubai, and many more.
The Print Party is an independent magazine curatorial platform founded by Chas Wagner. Based in Pittsburgh, PA; we showcase independent design, sport, fashion, food and architecture titles via retail pop-ups, bookshop lectures and art book fairs.
Plastikcomb Magazine (PCM) is a bi-annual art publication that features a diverse line-up of artists and non-conventional editorial design. The PCM Team is located in North America and Germany. They proclaim that print is not dead, and pledge to fight scroll-iosis!
Alex Luciano is a printmaker, illustrator and riso enthusiast based in Richmond, VA. She runs her own risograph press called Cowboy Press and enjoys making books, prints and zines in collaboration with other artists. She also prints her own work, plays in a band called Diet Cig, and has a dog named Cowboy.
