Jersey Art Book Fair Code of Conduct

We’re so excited to have you here, celebrating all the goodness that Jersey Art Book Fair (JAB Fair) has to offer.

JAB Fair is committed to providing a safe, and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We have a zero tolerance harassment policy that applies to all attendees, volunteers, sponsors, hosts and presenters.

Harassment*, generally defined as any behavior that alarms or threatens another person or group, or any behavior that causes excessive discomfort to other people, or breaks any applicable law, is not tolerated. Anyone violating this policy will be removed from JAB Fair and not allowed back to any events.

You can report any behavior directly to JAB Fair organizers, by emailing hello@densemagazine.org, or calling (973) 744-2544, anytime during the Fair. Someone from the Dense team will respond as soon as possible. If you are at an event when an incident occurs, you can locate a volunteer (wearing a JAB Fair name badge), who will then contact a Dense representative to follow up on the incident.

We appreciate your help in making this a safe environment for everyone.

*Note: harassment may include but is not limited, to the following:

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a JAB Fair representative immediately. JAB Fair representatives can be identified as they'll be wearing branded JAB Fair apparel.

JAB Fair representatives will help all participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event(s). We value your attendance.
